Is orange door properties part of a larger corporate entity,
or a franchise?
No. We are a fully independent local company. Our goal is highly specialized
attention to our clients. By not being part of a corporation, we don't
have the pressures of corporate sales methods, performance requirements,
or competing with other offices. We don't have to support corporate overhead.
We focus on your needs. This gives us the freedom and flexibility to
best serve our clients.
Will you use the Internet to market my home?
Absolutely. The key to a successful sale is marketing that reaches
the target consumer. At orange door properties we will tailor our strategy
to get you the best price, at the best possible terms.
Some of our Internet marketing techniques include:
Listing your house on The Multiple Listing Service (MLS). In addition
to being a primary tool of Real Estate professionals, the public now
has access to much of the MLS. The MLS database of all active listings
is open for view through a variety of search engines and at orangedoorproperties.com.
Buyers can enter their house-hunting criteria and search for active
listings.
We even have automatic email updates whenever a new listing comes up
that matches a buyer's customized home search.
The Featured Listing section at orangedoorproperties.com has descriptions,
pictures and access to disclosures for each of our homes for sale.
We also use traditional advertising media such as the S.F. Chronicle,
The Montclarion, and other print vehicles to direct prospects to your
property.
Lastly, we use email to stay in frequent touch will all our clients,
prospects and colleagues.
What does it mean to be an EcoBrokerR?
EcoBrokerR is an education and designation program for real estate

Of course. We know many reliable and reasonably priced tradespeople
and will make referrals as needed. We can also help you strategize which
improvements, if any will most significantly impact your home's value
for the purpose of resale.
Do you stage your listings?
It depends on the house. Obviously, the presentation of a house, or
how it "shows" is key to attracting buyers and getting the best price
for a home. Many houses can benefit from staging and we have excellent
consultants for this. But this is not always necessary or possible, and
sometimes removing clutter and rearranging some furniture can be just
as effective.
What areas/neighborhoods do you specialize in?
To best serve our clients, it is our job to stay on top of the current
market, in the East Bay neighborhoods. For our buyers, we will make sure
we are experts in the house you are searching for, in the neighborhoods
you want to live in, at the time you are looking. We have successfully
represented buyers and sellers all over the East Bay as well as San Francisco. |
